Rowdy Dogs Farm
Welcome to our website!
Rowdy Dogs Farm is a restored 1900's farm that originally was 120 acres. The farms initial crop was tobacco. In the early 2000's, the property was sold after the death of the owner, Red Rennau, who was a tobacco and cattle farmer. The property was eventually parceled out and the farmhouse along with eleven acres were purchased by John and Jerri Kiser, who fully restored the home. In 2017 we purchased an additional seven acres adjacent to our property giving us a total of a little more than 18 acres.
In 2011, my husband Lloyd and I purchased the property. At the time we were living in California and dreaming of one day retiring to Dandridge, Tennessee. That day arrived a few years later, in June of 2014, after the sale of our California home. We packed up our truck, a trailer and with two dogs headed for what would soon become an adventure of a lifetime.
We now have a small little slice of heaven with a donkey, mini horse, sheep, cows, goats, chickens, a cat and three amazingly rowdy dogs. Farming is a hobby for Lloyd and I. We get to learn the tricks of the trade from some of the nicest local farmers around. With that said ... Rowdy Dogs Farm is a work in progress. We are blessed and beyond grateful for friends and family to share our dream. Both Lloyd and I are thrilled that you have taken the time to explore our site, which is just a peek into our world of "Rowdy".
